PC: Re: PC in Lebanon, Ohio

The line is the Indiana & Ohio Rail System's Mason Line. The line used to be
the Cincinnati. Lebanon and Northern before becoming part of the
Pennsylvania Lines and then Penn Central. The I&O also operates the southern
most end of the line in which we call our Blue Ash line. It runs from
McCullough Yard in Norwood to Brecon and ends there. Our former owner tried
to put the to lines back together again several years ago but the towns
people would not hear of it. It went to court and we lost. So, the two lines
remain active with paper being the main commodity. I am Operations Manager
for the I&O in Logan, Ohio. We have a 4 mile section of the old Cincinnati &
Muskingum Valley (PRR) that we operate in Lancaster Ohio, plus the old C&O
(Hocking Valley) line from Columbus to Logan, Ohio.
