I have been told that Stewart will send replacement driveshafts and couplers to
628 owners experiencing these problems. I was told that it is also an MU issue
if the units are being dragged by faster locos, which from my experience in
testing one of mine means most locos will "drag" the 628's unless they are
heavily loaded. My RailCommand reciever equipped unit is an extremely slow
runner which doesn't bother me at all, I don't need it to go over 70 SMPH.
I have 10 of the 628's in undec so I'll be looking into the replacement parts.
