PC: La Salle Box car

Happy Y2K, glad I did nothing to prepare...

Anyhow, can anyone state (who knows or has the car themselves) why Kadee
lists a shop date of 1979 for the LS&BC boxcar?  Did not all of the ex-NYC
cars get returned to PC or is this a typo?  Is the car correct for the
"borrowed" cars, or is it correct for a later legitimate car?

For those who have not obtained one of Kadee's new cars, the detail is
amazing, you can use factory painted ones, and they are worth the money.  I
hear they are doing some 50' cars here soon also.
