I'm not currently a member of the PC Historical Society, but I would like to 
join if you can send me info on it off-list.  Maybe that could be one of 
their efforts--to find a suitable original PC unit, a museum willing to take 
it, and possibly help with some of the restoration and preservation efforts.  
I was 9 years old when my hometown railroad, the PRR, was merged into the PC, 
so the PC was the railroad I grew up with.  Maybe it doesn't rate the 
attention of its' predecessor lines, but it was still an important part of 
the Northeast's and the nation's rail history; too important to just ignore.
