PC: More on Decals

A great source for obtaining info for decals is lettering diagrams, and
Bob Reid put together a two part set of booklets entitled "Penn Central
Equipment Painting Plans"  back in PC days.  Copies can occasionally be
found at shows here in the Northeast.  Some reproduction is muddy, due
to the condition of the originals.

Another thought, which I think has been mentioned here before, is for the
PCHS to issue decals as a Society project.  In theory, a group effort has
more resources and should produce a more complete and accurate
product than any individual.  It's the coordination that usually fails.
(I'm starting to sound like management!).
