Sounds like the bridge in question.

So this is Middletown, CT and not Meridian. With Meridian and Middletown
next ot each other one can mistake it as Meridian. This is also the bridge
that was replaced?

The bridge I saw was a Dark Blue with Yellow Lettering with large Yellow PC
logo on left and "NY TO BOSTON........GO PENN CENTRAL lettering to the
right. As I recall the road was two lanes went down a slight grade under the
bridge.
