The bridge I saw was a Dark Blue with Yellow Lettering with large Yellow PC logo on left and "NY TO BOSTON........GO PENN CENTRAL lettering to the right. As I recall the road was two lanes went down a slight grade under the bridge.

The bridge I saw was in Middletown over CT Rt 66 which also passes through Meriden.  I don't know if there was also another actually in Meriden but certainly could have been since I'm not real familiar with Meriden.   The Middletown bridge was blue with yellow lettering,  the Bristol bridge was black with white lettering and looks like it could have been a quick New Haven "patch job".

Are you saying the GO PENN CENTRAL bridge I took a picture of was in fact in Middletown, CT and not Merridian as I thought?
