PC: Hopper reporting marks

Upon my drive back to school from taking photos of old PRR locations in
Logansport, IN, I passed a bunch of covered hoppers on a siding on the NS
north of Lafayette.  One was a CR hopper, still in PC paint with the
name, logo, & reporting marks painted out.  My question is, there were 3
letters in the reporting marks that were painted out.  Did PC have
subsidiaries which had their reporting marks placed on PC cars.  I think
I remember seeing a P&E car painted for PC, with P&E reporting marks. 
What other ones were there, and what roads were they?
