PC: ADMIN: Distuptions on the list

Hey folks,

Has this been the weekend for dipsticks on the list or what? I was away
from my computer for a couple days and I get two idiots complaining
about receiving "junk mail". Never mind the fact that to be a part of
this list, you have to *voluntarily* join the list..... Some people just
need to get a clue....

The two offending idiots have been removed, and I will deal with them
off-list as to their misbehavior, including copies of the offending
messages to their ISPs. As for the rest of you, we can continue with our
peaceful discussion of all things Penn Central. I'm sorry that I was
unable to deal with it sooner and that you all had to put up with that,
but I haven't been home much this weekend and did not get time to check
my e-mail. Unfortunately, I usually assume that people can behave like
adults on this list, but apparently that's not the case.

And one last thing: If this kind of thing comes up again, please let *me*
deal with it. As part of my role as listmaster, it's up to me to deal
with lusers that make waves on the list. If everyone tries to deal with
it, we end up with chaos. I am appreciative that most all of you ignored
these lusers over the weekend, but there were a couple of you (and you
should know who you are) who tried to play list-police. There's no need
to do that--it just fans the flames. If any of you still feel the need to
be the policeman of the list, then I will gladly step aside and allow you
to find a list server to run this list yourself on......
