Could you tell me please if any of the following PRR cars made it into PC:
PS18 (City of ** Series) PRR#8040-8068 (some PS18a in the series too,
back to 8035)

In addition to Lon's answer I have found four cars in the 8040-8069
series that made it to PC albeit in a different form. The following cars
were converted to dormitories by PRR in the early 60's and all made Penn
Central. I know this probably does not help, but thought you might be
interested.
8039 City of Akron to PRR/PC 7996
8050 City of Harrisburg to PRR/PC 7997
8051 City of Johnstown to PRR/PC 7998
8059 City of Pittsburgh to PRR/PC 7999
