Garrett,
   Yes, I caught that too.    All three Metro-North lines were shut down
most of the day as flash flood waters covered the third rail in the Bronx.
WCBS radio reports several feet of water in some areas and passengers
stranded on stalled trains for up to 6 hours.   Diesels had to be brought in
to tow trains back to point of origin.   Power was restored around 3:30pm
with limited service.
   Maybe Metro-North should think twice before retiring all the FL-9's.
