        You all think NS has problems with their half of Conrail, think
again. Down here in the southeast they are problems too. Macon, Ga is so
conjested with trains, not to mention power short (probably do to the
demand of the Conrail
split), the trains that come thru Columbus, Ga on the former Central of
Georgia main from
Birmingham, Al to Macon, Ga have to tie down their trains, and sometimes
power that brought the trains to Columbus are taken to Macon to
pull the trains there. It's a real mess! How can NS even think about
taking over half a railroad
when they can't even straighten things out here? Somethings got to give.
