PC: Poughkeepsie Bridge

A while back there was some talk on this list about Penn Central's 
Poughkeepsie Bridge (former New Haven) and the fire that permanently
took it out of service in 1974.  For some good photos, history, and

Particularly interesting are comments by Penn Central official spokesmen
about reopening the bridge and the comments from Penn Central welders
about how the bridge will never reopen.
