Overland - flat only - no containers.

Have one - very crude wood kit. Believe it was the later Mark IV version.
Would hope that Walthers might consider doing the Flexi-Van system with the
flats, containers and bogies since Milwaukee Road was a very large user of
Flexi-van.

Based on equipment registers the following roads/companies owned or leased
flexi-van compatible containers at one time or another. There are some
private trucking companies that may also have leased or owned containers at
one time or another. Also - there were 20' containers that when 2 were
bolted together could be loaded onto a flexi-van flat.

NYC
MILWAUKEE ROAD (2nd largest user of flexi-van)
SANTA FE
L&N
AHNAPEE & WESTERN
ILLINOIS CENTRAL
PENNSYLVANIA
WESTERN PACIFIC
SOO LINE
XTRA
TORCO
MISSOURI
SEABOARD AIR LINE ?
SSW ?
BURLINGTON ?
INTERSTATE EXPRESS
LITTLE AUDREY

The following owned/leased the flat cars:

MDT:
NYC
P&LE
SOUTHERN
BURLINGTON
MILWAUKEE ROAD
WESTERN PACIFIC
AHNAPEE & WESTERN
FRUEHAUF
RENTCO
CUSTOM TRUCK RENTAL
DEPT OF DEFENSE
INTERSTATE EXPRESS
SEABOARD AIR LINE ?

Roads marked with a ? are believed to have used them, but I haven't found a
roster listing for them.
