I received this request but I am not sure I can help. Yes, it is
slightly off topic but safety around railroads is important. If it
prevents one grade crossing accident, then it may be worth this bandwidth.

Jim,
I'm working on a story for Overdrive, the nation's leading magazine for
owner-operator truck drivers, that is part of a year-long series examining
aspects of trucking from a perspective of how they evolved over the century.
This story is about intelligent transportation systems -- mostly technology
that's come about in the last two or three decades, though it goes back to
early things, too. I'm trying to get a photo of a traffic control device,
such as warning arms at a train crossing, that looks dated, at least to the
'60s, but preferably older. Do you have anything like that in your archives,
or know who might have one?
Of course, we will credit any source on the photos.
