I left Pittsburgh in July of 66 for Fort Bennng, Georgia. A couple of
friends enlisted in the Air Force and we all left the same day from
Pitts. I had to fly but when I saw them later that day they were going
by train from the PRR station to San Antonio, Tex by rail. A few months
later on leave I ran into one of them and he told me the train was
packed with recruits for both the Army and Air Force. You see how my
luck runs!
