Hi everybody,
I've been on the list a few months and this is my first post.

I have three of the Athearn PC 50' plug door box cars.  The PC worm is solid
black.  I want to know if the worm was actually ever painted this way.
Pictures I have seen the worm is always white.   Someone with the color guide
or other info want to check?

My interest in PC stems from growing up in Rotterdam NY along what is now
called the Selkirk Branch.  I watched lots of NYC and PC action as a kid in
the 1960's.
