You could save some bucks on that by either looking for older proto2000 and
making dummies of them, using the motor on the Athearn units - it's a drop
in.  I just agreed to buy 3 GP18's with the idea for at least one to become
parts.  Even if you buy just the motor and flywheels direct from Life Like
it's only $25 - less than half of the cost of the A-line chassis.

	Another option is to go to Athearn's website and they will sell you
thelatest generation of their motor from the dash-9 ans AC4400, and
probably the Genesis line variant as well when they become available. 
Again it's a drop-in repower and for under $30.

In the case of the U25B it might be the smartest option simply because for
what an A-line frame would cost you could buy an entire Kato drive U25B
with a little looking around.   Course you could do that, swap shells, and
sell the athearn drive one on eBay and probably come out ahead, too.

	I'm not saying the A-line power units are bad, just that if what you want
is a better-performing motor there are a lot of less expensive options.
