As long as people behave themselves and follow some common sense safety rules,
they should not worry about being hassled. Asking permission before hand
helps, and so does reporting any problems with any trains, such as an open
container or trailer door, or other irregularity w ith a train that could
affect safety if you see it. Also besure to report those who act like jerks
and turn their names in if known, along with vehicle tag numbers, that way,
you don't let a few bad apples spoil it for the well behaved majority of rail
fans.
