That is true, but Conrail did. in fact Conrail but the last four units of a
cancelled Auto Train order. Those were originally intended for Auto Train, but
since that company was close to going belly up, they cancelled the order while
these four units were being built and Conrail had the AAR type B trucks
substituted for the EMD Blomberg trucks these units were to ride on probably
so they would not have any oddballs among the four axle GE fleet.
