I wouldn't worry too much about using the employee magazine name for a
historical society magazine. On of the Southern societies uses the name
"Ties" for its magazine, which was the name of the Southern employee's
magazine; in fact, the cover layout of the few issues I've seen look
close to the railroad's magazine. Instead of causing confusion, it is a
way to keep another aspect of a fallen flag alive.

A cute name is not a necessity for a magazine. If a great name does not
pop up, the magazine could just be titled something like "Penn Central
Railroad Historical Society." Right now, picking a title is putting the
cart before the horse. First a society needs to be formed and then
finances need to be secured to allow publication of a magazine. Only
after these hurdles are crossed should a title be chosen by the
directors.
