As far as I can determine, the GP20s and some other engines pretty much stuck
to New York Central rails and rarely, if ever ran on the Pennsy side. This was
particularly true of the NYC 4000 series E8s. I wish I could be more help, but
if I had more knowledge on these engines, I would share it. When Conrail came
along, there were 13 GP20s remaining, so evidently, two of the original 15
were destroyed in wrecks. Sorry I can't help more on this.
