GP-20`s

Hi,                                                                  I
recently bought Life-Like `s GP-20 PROTO 2000 for NYC.It is a beauiful
looking & running model.The major problem I have with it is that the
bell is mounted above the body not level with the body.I have only seen
pictures with the bell level with the body . Were they delivered that
way & then changed?And if so,when & why?
