okay I will spell it out more directly then.
Since both the LV and CR have/had vehicles of many colors, including in the
case of CR the same color most commonly associated with the railroad, it's
logical to assume it possible for there to have been green PC vehicles.
The only CR trucks in anything close to green are those painted flourescent
"Safety" yellow.
the Dodge truck at Danbury may be "just someone's (not PC) old truck" that
happened to be in the factory shade similar to PC green.
As for LV vehicles, take a look at either LV in Color or the Railfan
Binghamton Connection article and you will find every one of the vehicles
visible painted in a turquise-blue color, either a faded industrial blue
(common for those paints to chalk up and lighten) or intentionally a
turquise shade. LV did not have the money to order a special color on
these vehicles. Untill recently there was a 1950 Chevy truck in a junkyard
near Sayre with LV logos on it that also was blue. I've seen no evidence
of any red LV trucks. I did see a hi-rail Ford wagon that was white
though.
Lastly, the PC had every LV vehicle. the PC owned 97% of the LV, if not
100% of it by the time PRR became PC. And I am sure all but a few of the
trucks were "old"; certainly all of them are now.
