PC: 1000 series MU seats

A few weeks ago, there was a discussion here on what type of seats 
the PC 1000 series MU cars had. I had the opportunity to speak to a 
former PC/NYC conductor today, so I asked him. He confirmed what I 
thought. When the cars were delivered to the NYC, they had rattan 
seats. Later, when the cars went through heavy overhauls, the seats 
were recovered in blue vinyl.

He also told me that the older NYC MU cars, which never made it to PC,
 had a mix of rattan and LEATHER seats!
