Yes, many of the RDCs kept their safety stripes into the Metro North 
era. A few had alternate end paint, notably a couple that had 
belonged to Amtrak. They had blue ends.

Some, if not all, NH cars received the stripes under PC. An example 
is car #70, shown on page 195 of the Crouse RDC book. (The Hancock 
whistle gives away the car's heritage.)
