Darryl,

You don't mention what sources you are using to get started.
There are several hundred pictures of PC locos already
published, although much is now out of print.  Also, will you
be tracking large heralds vs. small heralds, heralds on noses
but not on sides, interim repaints, etc.?  How much  have you done
already?  With about 5000 units to track, you will need a procedure
to fill in the gaps while minimizing time wasted obtaining 
duplicate information (both your time and ours).

Why do I bring this up?...Because I thought about doing it myself!
