I thought those O&W units rotted longer than that...  1967 maybe, it was 10
years or so.   But I think maybe the author of the article was confused on
his '38's and 40's anyhow.

most of the remaining 3000-3049 series are either on Gulford or NJ Transit
(GP40FH-2m or whatever they call them)
