Yes, I am absolutely sure that NYC/PC GP-20s did not have dynamic 
brakes (and have the photos to prove it).  However, being primarily
an O Scale NYC steam modeler who has not seen the Proto 2000 shell, 
I'm glad to accept Jerome Rosenberg's word that the model comes 
without dynamic brakes.

I must honestly say that I'm really impressed with this level of 
accuracy.  There were only 15 GP-20s ever made without dynamic 
brakes, and all went to one railroad!
