PC: Like Like Proto 2000 GP20

Proto 2000 is coming out with a new GP20.  One of the paint schemes will be
NYC.  Since these engines passed onto Penn Central I plan on modelling one.  

It might be too early to ask, however, is this going to be a good
representation of a PC (or NYC) unit?   A few yrs ago a defunct magazine, The
Coupler did an article on modelling a NYC unit from the Tyco/Mantua unit.

My eyes seem to indicate that PC didn't do more than repaint their NYC GP20s.
I know they re de-turboed at some point.  Was this before or after the merger?
