Jeff,
    I found these cars listed on the Walthers web site as available Oct 1
1998.   They are listed as Pullman Standard corrugated cars which indicates
they are new, ( the previous cars were Budd ).    There is also a photo of
a PRR smooth sided PS coach also to be released Oct 1.   This is definately
a new model, but these will not be available in PC.
   Personally, I'm looking forward to the release.  I hope they get the
paint accurate!
