PC: ADMIN NOTE

A couple of things to bring to your attention:

This past weekend, I made some fixes to the list server. Previously,
there was a security hole that would allow people who were not
subscribed to the list to post to it anyway, and most of the time,
it would work, although it would generate errors and give me work to
do. I finally figured out how to stop that. The PC List has always
been, if not technically, then at least by intention, a closed list.
This is for everyone's protection, so that we don't have spammers or
hecklers mailing to the list.

Consequently, if you are subscribed to the list under one address,
but post to the list under a different address, your mail will not be
sent to the list, but will bounce to me. I have informed a couple
people individually of the problem, but I am letting you all know now.
Therefore, be sure to post to the list only from the address you are
subscribed to, or nobody will see it. 

Any messages bounced to me from what the list server determines to be
"non-member" submissions will be trashed, simply because I don't have
the time to do anything else with them.
