What "crosspost" means is that when a person sends a message to the
list, do not send it to the PC Mailing List and another mailing list
in the same message. Putting multiple mailing list recepients in the
"To:" header causes problems if someone on another mailing list who
isn't subscribed to the PC List tries to do a reply to all (which you
shouldn't do in the first place, because the sender gets two copies of
the e-mail), because then the message bounces and causes problems on
my list server.
If you would like to send a message to the PC list and another list,
please send two separate e-mails to each list individually. I was out
of town for a week (railfanning, of course), and when I came back I had
a lot of cleanup work to do that really is unnecessary. That's why they
make _automated_ list servers.... :-)
ObPC: A PC web site update should be coming in the next week or so.
Thanks,
-Jer
