Exactly. With copyright infringement being so prevalent on the Internet
and people starting to get busted for it, that's one place that I'm not
going to go. It would be nice if we could get permission, because I'd
gladly host the archives--disk space is not an issue. 

(That's why I ask permission before using people's photos on my web
site. Even taking a person's image from a web site and posting it on
your own site without their permission is copyright infringement.
Besides, that's just plain rude too....)

A couple of other things: I don't know if it's been mentioned on the
list, but for the PC modelers out there: Herald King Decals is going
out of business. They are one of the few companies that produced a
good number of PC freight car decal sets. You might want to snatch some
of the PC decal sets up the next time you find any....
