Rob, Here's what I remember:

Croton-North was turned into a hobby shop in the mid-70s, so it 
didn't have a ticket office. It was still a stop, though. The 
addition, if it's what I think you are referring to, was put on in 
the 80s, after the hobby shop moved out.

In the early 70s, the lower parking lot was half paved, the part 
further away from the tracks was an umpaved private lot. The paved 
portion was municipal.
