I live in Allen Park, about 45 minutes east of Clinton, MI.  I recall both
the PC and NYC-painted cabooses on the Southern Michigan.  You did an
excellent job in painting both cars!  Too bad the group has apparently
regressed with their (lack of a) sense of history.
