With regards to Flexi-vans.  I have an old issue of Modern Railroads, Nov
1960 and the entire issue is devoted to the NYC (sorry P-Company fans).  In
it is a short article on the Flexi-van.  If there is enough interest, I could
distill it and post it.

Also have an article from Model Railroader, Feb 1992, which has many photos
and drawings of the cars and vans.  Article covers loading and unloading
procedures, operations and other owners besides the NYC.

Interesting note, especially to Jer, the lead photo was taken from BR Tower
now know as CP171 in Euclid, Ohio and not a trace of I-90 behind the train.
