The Rochester Chapter NRHS has a New York Central Flexivan trailer as
part of its museum collection. The trailer is in pretty decent shape and
currently houses the "shops" which support our historic construction
equipment collection.
We just have to redo one of the signs which was lost before we got the
trailer, but the rest of its markings are there. Have to get a pic of it
on our website sometime soon.
Eventually, I would love to find the proper parts to get it back on the
rails. Am I correct in my assumption that the Flexivan's were sort of
predecessors to today's RoadRailers or were they loaded on to flat cars?
Until later,
Chris
